Today was the day for the 2021 Banoak Spelling Bee! We had six amazing participants from grade 4 through 6 and enjoyed the best spelling bee in recent Banoak history. These students are rock stars! The spelling bee went 35 rounds with students spelling a total of 87 words!
We want to thank our judges, Mrs. Moser, Ms. Heather Fulbright, and Ms. Hobbs, and our coordinator and pronouncer Mrs. Perry for helping make today happen and also give a special thank you to Mrs. Hayes for her help and support.
Congratulations to all of our participants. Your hard work really paid off today, and you made Banoak proud!

Daisy will compete in the CCS Spelling Bee next month at Maiden High School, and we know that she will represent Banoak well!
